It is easy to order an espresso drink from a cafe and not think twice about the work that went into making it if you have never made a latte for yourself before. The truth is that making an espresso drink for yourself at home can be somewhat of a chore.
Being a barista at a cafe is a different story because a barista gets used to making espresso drinks rapidly and consistently. Making one at home on occasion leaves a very wide margin for making it wrong because it leaves you out of practice.
A great solution to this problem is getting an espresso pod machine. Espresso pod machines are relatively new to the espresso machine world having just been introduced in the past ten years.
The traditional way of making a cup of espresso involves grinding the espresso beans to the right size grind, measuring it out, tamping it down, putting it in the espresso maker, brewing the cup of espresso and then dealing with the mess after the espresso has been brewed.
95% of the process and mess is cut out of the equation when using a pod machine to brew espresso. The pods contain pre ground and measured espresso so all you have to do in order to make a cup of espresso is use your fingers to move the espresso pod from the package to the machine and then push the button to make the machine start brewing.
After the espresso has been brewed there is no mess left behind, just the filter paper that was encasing the pod of espresso. These machines are great for the home and also great for the office. The office can stay perky and awake with this type of machine and not a single person has to clean it. So you get Delonghi Gran Dama 6600 or Gaggia Evolution for your office.
