Indoor tanning lotion is essential to aid in the process of getting your skin nice and bronze. Not all indoor tanning lotions are the same. There are several lotion types to consider when deciding on which product is right for you. Depending on your tanning level and skin type you are going to want to research or speak to a tanning consultant about what lotion is best for you.
The bronzing lotion is used to give your skin a tint of color when applied. Bronzers are rapidly becoming popular due to the fast and immediate results that are said to be achieved from using this type of indoor tanning lotion. The downside about bronzers is that they tend to wipe off on your clothes and cause a mess.
Tinglers. Tingling tanning lotions should be used with caution and by experienced tanners only. The tingling sensation when you put on this lotion is said to stimulate your blood vessels and bring them closer to the surface for a deep, longer tan.
It is usually recommended to avoid putting tingler lotion on your face in the event that you accidentally get some in your eyes. Tinglers are said to cause a warming feeling to a mild painful tingling.
Cooler bronzing lotion is similar to the bronzer because it increases your quality of tan, but is like a tingler because it has an added ingredient that rather than give you a warm tingling feeling, is known to give a cool breeze feeling, like that of menthol.
It is well known that any type of tanning can cause your skin to lose a lot of moisture, which tends to leave it dry and cracking. Moisturizing tan accelerator lotion provides a higher level of moisture to be released back into your skin while you are tanning.
If you are still unsure which tanning lotion is right for you, don’t fret. A lot of lotions have a combination of either bronze and tingle or a moisturizer and bronze to satisfy all of your basic tanning needs.
