Ways To Make Fresh Home Made Juice Simply

Juice made fresh at home with a juicer is a simple matter. There are just a few simple steps to follow:

Finding the correct produce:

Ensure that you purchase the correct type of produce that you want and the amount that you will need. Consider if you are going to juice only citrus fruits? Produce? Greens that are leafy? One or two eight ounce glasses of juice a day is what a lot of people consume. For each eight ounce glass you wish to make you will need approximately one pound of produce.

If its possible, buy organic products: When you see foods that are labeled ‘organic’ you will know that they were not grown with any pesticides or chemicals. Also you will know that they are not grown from genetically modified seeds. The healthiest choice you can pick for yourself is organic fruit and vegetables.

Wash and rinse your produce. You need to make sure that you are washing and scrubbing your produce thoroughly. They offer products like fruit/vegetable wash and you can use a brush if you are really trying to get them clean. But you must still be aware that any amount of cleaning and scrubbing will not remove every bit of the pesticides and chemicals that are in the food’s meat or on the food.

Produce should be prepared correctly. If you notice any parts of your food has bruises or damaged looking areas, make sure to cut those areas off. And if you do buy the produce that is non-organic, make sure you peel the exteriors off.

There may be more concentrated areas of pesticides in and on the peel that you can remove by taking this part off, although you will remove some of the vital nutrients that are in the peelings. If you come across seeds that are overly hard, remove them, as well as any pits. Most products can have the stems left on them if you wish, but not carrot greens. As the carrot greens are thought to be somewhat toxic.

Slice the Food. Ensure that all of your produce is sliced down to sizes that you will be able to easily put into the appliance’s feed tube.

This way you are able to catch all of the pulp and avoid that being in your drink, and easily remove it from the equation. Just be sure that before you start juicing you line the pulp catcher/receptacle with a plastic bag so you can pull it out with ease.

Making sure you use a plastic bag will minimize your clean up time, taking one crucial part of cleaning the machine out of the equation. Using a quality appliance, such as the Jack Lalanne Juicer, will allow you to extract the most amount of juice at any one time and so make your endeavours more efficient.

Enjoy your beverage! Your fresh home made juice would be best if you drank it right away. The longer you let your juice drink stand, it will oxidize more and more, losing nutrients in the process.

If you do not plan do drink all of it right away you can put the rest of it in an airtight container in your refrigerator. Stored juice should be consumed within a day at most.
