Keeping your boat clean is a must if you live on your boat, but even if you just visit your boat on weekends, keeping your boat dry with a good vinyl and rubber protectant seal around the openings to the birth or inner compartments is an absolute must. Boat repairs will be easiest if taken care of sooner rather than later.

Mold and liquids left inside of an enclosed area will soon lead to poor indoor air quality. Nothing is worse than having poor air quality inside your boat. Many times people like us use air fresheners and plug-in style air freshening gizmos.

If you shampoo your carpet to remove stains, make sure you have plenty of fresh air moving through the cabin for at least two hours after cleaning. Having enough sunlight and fresh air afterward can make the difference between having a clean smelling boat and a tuna tug that gives you black lung.
